Our Story
Welcome to Melting Hearts. I'm Codey Loveless and my wife, Katie Loveless, and I are the Founders of Melting Hearts. Melting Hearts is much more than a fragranced wax melt company - it's a mission.
Some of you may have noticed our last name is Loveless. It's a fitting name because my brother, Michael Loveless, and I were both born with broken hearts. At only 9 months old, my brother underwent open heart surgery to repair congenital heart defects - holes in his heart. Our parents were barely 19 years old, terrified they might lose their first baby. thanks to the incredible staff and heart programs at Doernbecher's Children's Hospital, his heart was repaired fully.
Unfortunately, our parents journey wasn't over. Just 21 months later, I was born with the exact same condition. At 3 years old, I to underwent open heart surgery performed by the same surgeon at the same children's hospital. A nightmare relived. By the grace of God, and dedicated medical teams and heart programs, my heart was also fully repaired.
That experience shaped our family deeply, and today Melting Hearts exists to bring warmth, comfort, and healing into homes while giving back to heart related programs and treatment research.
